Can you share a bit about the project work that Benchmark completed for you?
Installed a new line to be able to add a new customer and a new city (Bartlett).
What challenges have experts from the Benchmark helped you address?
Super-complicated project (private property, under roadways, open cut, under the river (installed 5 miles of 30” pipe).
The timeframe was challenging too. Bartlett initially decided to go with a different supplier, then had complications as they realized the initial supplier could not perform. The replacement supplier had to meet contract requirements in a shortened-up design and work period.
How did the relationship with you and process work?
Prequalified contractors because of the size of the pipeline and project scope. Ended up with 5-6 candidates, Benchmark had an excellent experience with large water mains.
What outcomes or results from your work with Benchmark have your experienced? (time, cost, quality)
Excellent work, below cost and on-time! Had to manage multiple towns, some of which were not members of the DuPage Water Commission.

Easy to work with, very professional, came to project meetings prepared. Also came to meetings with their concerns, open to solutions.
