Can you share a bit about the project work that Benchmark completed for you?
Benchmark was a general contractor for the Chicago Dept. of Water Management. Won contract to install water mains in multiple locations.
What challenges have experts from the Benchmark helped you address?
Tom was the Water Dept. Commissioner. When the program was started in 2012, it was an extremely aggressive program. Benchmark was one of three contractors to win contracts. Benchmark needed to be specific about the approach and had to ramp-up in 30 days. The project challenge was a very dense underground environment with multiple uBliBes—had to convince the Commissioner they could handle the work. Mark Sr. is a man of his words—did exactly what he promised and hit all milestones (schedule, amount of pipe installed, cost).
